Several years later, Jehoshaphat visited Ahab in Israel’s capital city, Samaria. Ahab, knowing Jehoshaphat’s wealthy entourage, prepared a feast of sheep and goats to entice him into attacking Ramoth-gilead. It was a clear demonstration of Ahab’s deceptive nature, manipulating Jehoshaphat for his own gain.
